Most fragrance marketing splits scents into masculine and feminine categories that have more to do with convention than chemistry. Heavy florals get labelled feminine. Leather and tobacco get labelled masculine. Those are marketing decisions, not properties of the ingredients.
A genuinely unisex composition works differently. It avoids the note structures that carry strong gender associations and builds instead on families that read as neutral, citrus, green notes, soft woods and light florals used in balance rather than dominance. AEIN was composed on that principle. It is not a men's fragrance made lighter or a women's fragrance made drier. It was built neutral from the start.
The opening is grapefruit. It is brighter and slightly more bitter than orange or lemon, which gives AEIN an immediate crispness without the sharpness of a straight citrus cologne.
The heart is osmanthus, a flower that carries a distinctive apricot and leather quality. This is the note that gives AEIN its character. It softens the citrus opening and adds a fruity-floral warmth that is complex enough to hold attention through the day without ever becoming heavy.
The base is sandalwood, dry, creamy and long-lasting. It is what gives the fragrance its finish and what keeps it on the skin hours after application.
Together these three make a scent that is fresh at the start, rounded in the middle and warm at the end. It is a full arc rather than a single accord, which is what separates a well-built fragrance from a pleasant one.

AEIN, like every Anooca fragrance, is extrait de parfum. That is the highest fragrance oil concentration made, above eau de parfum and well above eau de toilette.
In UAE conditions this is the difference between a fragrance that performs and one that does not. Ambient heat accelerates evaporation from the skin. Lighter concentrations lose their top and heart notes quickly, leaving only a faint base after a couple of hours. A higher-concentration extrait retains its structure far longer, and because each application delivers more oil, you need fewer sprays to get there.
Two to three sprays on pulse points is sufficient. The wrists, the base of the neck and behind the ears are the warmest points on the body and will lift the fragrance most effectively. Do not rub after spraying.
AEIN is versatile enough for daytime office wear, weekend outings and evening events. Its citrus opening makes it particularly comfortable in summer, while the sandalwood base gives it enough weight to work in cooler months.
