CAVARO opens with bergamot, bright and citrus-sharp, which stops the fragrance from feeling heavy in the first minutes of wear. Underneath that sits leather, giving structure and a slightly smoky, tactile quality. Amber forms the base and is what makes CAVARO last. It is warm, resinous and clings to skin and fabric long after the opening has burned off.
The overall effect is confident rather than loud. It is not a fragrance that announces itself from across a room, but it is one that people notice when they are close to you, which is usually the point. It suits business settings, evening events and cooler months particularly well, though the bergamot opening keeps it wearable year round in the Gulf.
Not every man wants amber and leather. AEIN is our unisex composition and a significant proportion of our male customers choose it over CAVARO, particularly for daytime and summer wear.
Grapefruit opens it with a clean, slightly bitter citrus lift. Osmanthus sits in the heart, contributing a soft apricot-floral quality that keeps it from being a plain citrus scent. Sandalwood anchors the base, creamy and dry, which gives AEIN a grown-up finish rather than a sporty one. If your preference runs toward fresh and modern rather than warm and traditional, start here.
Fragrance is sold in several concentrations, and the label on the bottle tells you more about performance than the price does. Eau de toilette carries a low proportion of fragrance oil and typically fades within two to four hours. Eau de parfum is stronger. Extrait de parfum, which is what Anooca produces, carries the highest concentration of all.
The practical difference in the UAE is significant. Heat accelerates evaporation, so a lighter concentration that performs acceptably in a temperate climate can disappear almost entirely during a Dubai afternoon. A higher-concentration formulation resists that. It also means you use less per application, which offsets the cost over the life of the bottle.
Perfume is one of the most common gifts in the UAE and one of the easiest to get wrong. Two things reduce the risk. First, look at what he already wears. If his current bottle sits in the woody, spicy or oriental families, CAVARO will feel familiar. If he reaches for citrus and aquatic scents, AEIN is the safer choice.

Apply to pulse points where the skin is warmest, at the wrists, the base of the neck and behind the ears. Warmth lifts the fragrance and helps it develop. Do not rub your wrists together after spraying, as the friction breaks down the top notes and shortens the life of the scent.
With extrait de parfum, two to three sprays is enough. Store the bottle away from direct sunlight and away from bathroom humidity, both of which degrade fragrance oils over time. A drawer or a closed cupboard at room temperature is ideal.
